For all of us frustrated Philly fans, maybe there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Tomorrow (Sat) night Norristown HS and Chester HS will play for the PIAA Class AAAA basketball championship. Congratulations to both schools. Which brings me to another point. IMHO, a good college (any division) or HS basketball game is every bit as exciting as a 76'ers game, without the 'glit and glidder' and the other trappings of the pro game. |

Agree there Dutchman. Watching the show-boating in the NBA is nauseating at times. Good solid fundamental basketball is where it's at.
Wow, so two local teams vying for the state title. Guess in the end, the Philly area can't lose. I suppose I should pay more attention to the high school teams.
Good pick up.... So any thoughts on the upcoming Phillies season as it appears the Flyers will make the playoffs but get knocked out early. Which leaves us with the Phillies until Eagles season starts. Course, the Eagles need a play-making WR bad. Not sure they'll ever get back into contention until they do so. |
