Where to begin?  The Eagles have another game down and down big.  Mistakes galore, poor decisions everywhere yet down only 10-7 when Andy Reid decides to pull Donovan.  Now granted, Donovan stunk up the place but the game was so close, why pull the one guy on the team that can run this disfunctional offense?  Did Andy really think Kevin Kolb, who did his best under an adverse situation, would do better?  I think it has come high-time for Andy to resign, for the sake of this team, just resign.  Andy has officially lost this team and I dare say, lost them forever.  I suspect that any respect he had from the players is now gone after this latest debacle called a football game.  As a fan, I'm beyond disgusted with his pitiful play calling (2nd and inches = pass, 3rd and 1 = pass).  Andy simply has to go.  I'm disappointed in the silence of Jeffrey Lurie who came to town vowing to bring Philadelphia a winner.  Well, here we are many years later and we're now on the downward slope towards a loser.  Seems the team's peak was back when the Eagles made the Super Bowl.  Course, they did so with a decent running game and a NUMBER 1 receiver!

Though some will want to place fault with Donovan, I will argue that he does deserve some fault but no where near the fault of Andy.  Does Donovan have any decent running game?  After Westbrook got hurt, where did Andy take the team offensively?  Pass, Pass, Pass is what he did.  There is no real backup running back and no fullback to speak of.  This team has pitiful receiving corps and a non-exsistent tight end.  So what can Donovan really do?  He's been dealt a fixed deck of cards and is expected to win.  Once he's back in town and boo-birds get after him, it might just be best for Donovan to look towards another team and a change of scenery.  Best of luck Donovan.

Re: Eagles Shame, Part II

Geez, what a crappy game. how can anyone calling themselves an Eagles fan not want to throw Andy out of this town. I hope the ownership does something soon.

Re: Eagles Shame, Part II

pitchers and catches in 81 days? Looks to be the only real bright spot in this Eagles season... LOL... thankfully I didn't start Westbrook on my fantasy team and don't plan to start him next week either.

Oh, and Andy Reid sucks as a coach!!
