So I go off on vacation with the family and look what I come back to:

Eagles:
DeSean, do you have any idea on how to score a touchdown?  Not since Leon Lett have a seen such preemptive celebration turn sour.  Luckily for you that your teamates picked you up and scored that touchdown.  I'm distressed over the greater desire to celebrate a touchdown than actually scoring it.  It's one of the things that makes professional sports so disgusting to watch, basketball the worst.  I sure hope all players learned a lesson by that poor disciplne shown on Monday night.

As for the team as a whole.  Wow, I must say, they sure are exciting to watch.  That game last night had it all.  I do think Donovan needs to run more.  Late in the game with a wide open field in front of him he throws it at the feet of a receiver.  He easily could've gotten at least 8-9 yards if he just ran it and went out of bounds.  I wonder sometimes what he is thinking.

Phillies:
Wow, swept the Brewers this past weekend and now are in position to win either the wild card or the NL East.  Can't argue much with that.  I think this team's offense is still too inconsistent to bring this town a championship ring but perhaps this year they can get past that first round.  I'll remain cautiously optimistic for the time being.

I'll get to the Flyers and Sixers once the Phillies season is done.  See you soon guys.
