A.J. Feeley’s success (if you can call 2 killer picks success) against the Patriots Sunday night has served only to further cloud the Eagles’ QB situation.  It was hard to ignore how smoothly the offense ran with Feeley; it looked like it did with Jeff Garcia last season.  Who plays the rest of the season really should rest on how the coaching staff forms the game plan going forward.  If timing routes and dink-and-dunk is the way they want to play, then Feeley should be the guy.  He is simply a much more accurate passer.Read More »

The most annoying part of media coverage and fan reaction of the Eagles this year is the weekly microscopic analysis of the play of QB Donovan McNabb, especially given the fact that he is returning from a major knee injury.  When he has a bad week, he’s written off as finished, and sentiment is that he should be benched.  When he has a good week, he’s back to the old Donovan.  Neither is correct, and we won’t know for sure which side is right until next season, after a full season of rehab.Read More »

The Eagles 38-17 loss to Dallas last night was depressing in that it brings the reality that this team just isn’t good enough, and for the first time in a decade, the Cowboys are the better team.  It hurts just to write it.
